Life is bouncy.
I am having problems with sounds. Right night they are having an extremely adverse effect on my life. But I don't really want to talk about that. I am doing things to solve the problem, it might not work but I have to try them before I can start thinking about what comes next. Right now I am at home at my parents place, away from the sounds that hurt me. Needless to say there is a lot of stress that I really need done away with. I have decided to start fencing again next week, stress be damned.
I want to go see Dream Theater. They are holding a concert in sweden in just about two weeks. If there are any tickets left by the time I have reduced the stress I might decide to go see them.
I have been watching some modern asian action films. I love many of the old Kung Fu movies, but all these new action movies tend to really suck. They have no sense for details, no sense for story structure and no tight kung fu moves to redeem them. I have a friend at school who says that everything american sucks, and everything asian rocks. I think he is confused.
I have also been watching some good asian movies. One was called Project A, the other Eastern Condors. Fun story and unbelievable Kung Fu. I have actually seen one very good asian Thriller without Kung Fu, it's called Double vision and interestingly is a chinese/american cooperation. The american contribution is the actor that plays Brutal in The green mile. He does a very good job in this movie as well.
I am thinking about ordering a couple of DVDs with other movies I want to see or see again. The interest list include Ghost in the shell 2, AI, Sin city, Wolf's rain and Who am I with Jackie Chan.
